Nature offers countless lessons and governs the rhythms of life- seasons, tides, day and night. Rhythm plays a crucial role in our survival and well-being.
But what happens when these rhythms are disrupted by anxiety, depression, addiction, stressful or traumatic events? Can balance be restored, and if so, how?
I believe in our own deep wisdom. The capacity for healing lies within us. And like nature’s interconnected design, healing happens in relationship. Our relationships with our own bodies and other beings have the potential to be profoundly healing. Therapy invites us to be attuned to what is within and around us to foster healing and growth. Anxiety
Feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or constantly ruminating? Anxiety is a common emotion that occurs as a response to a real or perceived threat. Occasional anxiety is normal, but when anxiety becomes frequent, out of proportion or persists after a situation is over, it can be a sign you need additional help. Therapy Matters anxiety treatment approach combines proven therapeutic methods to help clients manage symptoms and dive deep to uncover the root of anxiety with the goal of equipping you with effective coping skills and lasting peace.

Highly Sensitive
Have you ever felt like you are too much? Too intense? Too emotional? Too sensitive? You might be "highly excitable". These highly sensitive people have an increased ability to perceive and respond to their environment. I recognize the unique challenges of Highly Sensitive People (HSP). My treatment approach is designed to provide a safe, understanding space where sensitivity is seen as a strength. Our sessions will focus on developing healthy boundaries, managing overstimulation, and harnessing sensitivity to improve relationships and overall well-being.
